Where do I start? ! I whole process of booking my course with One Week Driving was pain free. I selected the date and had confirmation on who my instructor was to be within a matter of days. Leanne from the team kept me updated with dates of my test ( there was a few in which I couldn’t do ) but she kept trying and located the right one for me. So a massive thank you! Where do I start with Alan…. I had previously tried learning to drive with other instructors but just didn’t seem to gel with them, which resulted in me giving up. I honestly thought that this was going to be the same again ( I’m older and wiser and have less patience then I did when I was younger ) But Alan was completely different. He made me feel at ease right away, had me driving the car within an hour and gave me some really good pointers / tips on what I should change ect. I booked a 30hr Automatic course in southwest London. The booking process was easy and I got conformation that the dates I wanted were available very quickly. I was also advised that my practical test had been booked and that I had been assigned an instructor for the week. The One Week Driving Course was really helpful to my driving and I improved massively throughout the week. My instructor Mike Parfitt was calm and was clear with his instructions on manoeuvres and the breaks helped to break up the driving so it didn’t feel as if you were driving for too long. At the end of the week I passed my test so the course did what it said it would. A great course!
Before my first lesson I had never sat behind the wheel of a car let alone driven one and yet Adam was able to make me feel at ease and comfortable from the start. Six hours of driving each day is definitely intense but Adam was able to structure the day to make it interesting and to ensure that we made the most of our time, focusing the morning on fundamental driving skills and the afternoons
