Kelvin is a great instructor, very calm and patient, who helped me go from a novice who dreaded driving to being a confident and competent driver. He is very helpful and accurate with what actions cause faults, knows what I am thinking and how/when corrects that, and is good at building confidence. He also consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty of instructing, helping find cars, giving tips about insurance and servicing, and entertaining with stories. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Kelvin, and would recommend him to anyone.
Having some previous experiance of driving from some time ago, I opted to go for the 4 day course consisting of 24 hours of driving. The course fees covered not only the 24 hours behind the wheel but also the cost of the theory and the practical, which removed the hassle of arranging it myself. I felt the communication was excellent throughout, once i’d paid for the course, within 24 hours I had received a welcome email, had a date confirmed for my theory test and had been assigned an instructor. Very efficient and stress free.
Also within that time my instructor, Kelvin, had also contacted me. Kelvin’s teaching method was fantastic, assuring and positive when you got it right, constructive and supportive when you didn’t. Kelvin’s approach was very modern, allowing you to develop your own driving style whilst meeting and exceeding all the required standards rather than trying to shoe horn you into a style you are not familiar or comfortable with. This from a personal point of view greatly enhanced the experiance for me. Kelvin’s methods are successful ones, as he challenges you to reach such high levels of driving ability that even when you think your struggling, your still above the required standard. My practical test was a prime example of this. I felt the test was not going as well as my practice runs on the day and wasn’t sure i’d been good enough, but I passed with 7 minors.
Aside from being a great instructor, Kelvin is a very approachable and nice person and I would recommend his services to anybody.

I am absolutely thrilled with the service I received from both One Week Driving Course and my instructor Peter Dye.
Working nights I have found that standard driving lessons, while they work for most, were proving to be a bit of a waste of time. It is impossible to bring your A game to lessons when you have had 5 hours (maximum) sleep and have just worked a ten hour shift the night before,
The driving instruction was really good. Stephen was very encouraging and pushed me without making me uncomfortable. I feel I’ve made excellent progress from a point of no driving experience to being able to control the car on the road. I saw going into the test that I might struggle a bit, however even knowing this Stephen did his best to keep me in a positive frame of mind.
