Guaranteed Pass Driving Courses
You may have seen driving schools advertising Guaranteed Pass Driving Courses, but it is important to check exactly what is included before booking.
Many courses advertised as a guaranteed pass do not provide unlimited driving lessons and practical tests until you pass. They may include an intensive driving course followed by a limited number of correction hours, often around two hours, and one further practical test if you are unsuccessful.
A true guaranteed pass course, where further tuition and practical tests continue until you pass, would need to be priced to cover an unknown number of additional driving lessons and test attempts. Courses offering this level of guarantee can cost around £8,000–£10,000, and very few driving schools offer them.
For most learners, this can mean paying considerably more than the amount of tuition they are actually likely to need.
Our Approach
At One Week Driving Course, we do things differently. Rather than charging thousands of pounds upfront for tuition you may never require, we help you choose an intensive driving course based on your previous driving experience.
Our courses range from 12-hour retest courses through to 48-hour intensive driving courses, allowing you to book a course that more closely reflects the amount of tuition you are likely to need. Returning One Week Driving Course students can also book our 6-hour retest course if they require additional tuition following an unsuccessful practical test.
Learners booking our 30, 36, 42 or 48-hour courses are also covered by our Free Practical Test Offer. If you are unsuccessful on your practical test, you can claim £62 towards another practical driving test, subject to the terms of the offer.
If further tuition is required, you can then book one of our retest courses rather than paying thousands of pounds upfront for driving lessons you may never need.
Can Anyone Guarantee That I Will Pass?
No driving school can guarantee the result of a practical driving test. Your test is conducted by a DVSA examiner and the result depends on your driving performance during the test.
Our focus is therefore on providing the right amount of tuition, experienced fully qualified ADIs and structured preparation, rather than charging a substantial premium for a "guaranteed pass" package.
