Malcolm Smith was an amazing instructor. Despite how nervous I felt each day, he made the car into a place that I instantly relaxed. Best choice I ever made, Jason was very helpful and a great instructor, I had no experience in driving at all on the Monday starting the course, which was worrying being as the test was on the following Friday but Jason taught me everything I needed to know for the test in such a short time frame and I passed first time with no minors. Guy was really easy to get along with, patient, kind and a helpful instructor. He made me feel at ease and didn’t put me under any pressure. He didn’t shout or get annoyed when I did something wrong, just talked me through it and let me fix it. As an anxiety sufferer I was worried but Guy was brilliant I couldn’t of asked for a better instructor for the week. I did a 30 hour intensive course and passed my test first time! Thanks.
This way of driving is not seen as the norm currently, however it should it be.
This method of learning is definitely intensive, but well worth it. You can drive further, learn for longer and learn how to drive not just how to pass your test. I have experienced both the traditional “2 hours a week for 6 months” and the “One week driving” methods and can admit it may be hard to find 1-2 weeks completely free, but if you can then go for it! You wont loose your enthusiasm for driving on the one week course.
If you can choose, I highly recommend Lyndon D’Cruze; excellent motivation, great teacher and a really funny bloke!
