Intensive Driving Courses Blackburn

This course is a great way to learn to drive especially for people like me that like to learn new things all at once and not with huge gaps in between lessons. My instructor Garry was great, he made the lessons relaxed and fun and made it very easy for me to learn everything. He explained everything clearly and didn’t make me feel self concious or silly when I got things wrong which was really good for me as I have an anxiety disorder. I would highly recommend him to anyone else that is thinking about doing this course.

Stephen Lee is the best instructor I’ve ever had! I’ve had about 4 instructors in the past and I always stop taking lessons because of their attitude towards me. I took a 24 intensive course with Stephen as my instructor. We did 6 hours a day for 4 days and my test after my last 6 hours on the Thursday. I enjoyed and fully understood Stephens teaching. He drew diagrams and added colours into my notes which I then went home and went over. I am very happy with how I started on day 1 knowing nothing and being nervous to day 4 passing my test! I 100% recommend an intensive driving course and stephen lee as an instructor!

Having some previous experiance of driving from some time ago, I opted to go for the 4 day course consisting of 24 hours of driving. The course fees covered not only the 24 hours behind the wheel but also the cost of the theory and the practical, which removed the hassle of arranging it myself. I felt the communication was excellent throughout, once i’d paid for the course, within 24 hours I had received a welcome email, had a date confirmed for my theory test and had been assigned an instructor. Very efficient and stress free.

Also within that time my instructor, Kelvin, had also contacted me. Kelvin’s teaching method was fantastic, assuring and positive when you got it right, constructive and supportive when you didn’t. Kelvin’s approach was very modern, allowing you to develop your own driving style whilst meeting and exceeding all the required standards rather than trying to shoe horn you into a style you are not familiar or comfortable with. This from a personal point of view greatly enhanced the experiance for me. Kelvin’s methods are successful ones, as he challenges you to reach such high levels of driving ability that even when you think your struggling, your still above the required standard. My practical test was a prime example of this. I felt the test was not going as well as my practice runs on the day and wasn’t sure i’d been good enough, but I passed with 7 minors.

Aside from being a great instructor, Kelvin is a very approachable and nice person and I would recommend his services to anybody.

I booked an intensive course in Watford as although I had taken lessons in the past, I felt a week of continual learning would be the best way for me to keep my focus. From the moment I paid my deposit I was kept informed by email and text of all the necessary information I would need, theory/practical test dates and my instructors information. I was paired with Lee who from the outset not only put my mind at ease but gave me the confidence to know I was and could be a good driver. The thorough nature of the course itself and especially Lee made sure I turned up to the test with the best planning. I will admit I did fail (still don’t think it was my fault!) and failed again 2 weeks later (probably my fault!!), but with the training and Lee’s words ringing in my ears I passed 3rd time round (apparently all the best drivers pass 3rd time…. ). Not only did I pass, but I managed to ‘keep a clean sheet’ with no minors at all. I would recommend One Week Driving Course to anybody who was looking to not only learn the skills needed for driving, but the confidence needed to put these skills into action. A great instructor, a first class course from original booking to passing my test and overall an absolute pleasure – without overselling the point I would give these guys 6 stars if I could!!
