The One Week Driving Course was really helpful to my driving and I improved massively throughout the week. My instructor Mike Parfitt was calm and was clear with his instructions on manoeuvres and the breaks helped to break up the driving so it didn’t feel as if you were driving for too long. At the end of the week I passed my test so the course did what it said it would. A great course!
I recently had 36 hours of lessons booked with Stephanie, she called me before the course to introduce herself and get to know me a bit better. She confirmed what time she would pick me and that was that! Sunday came and Steph was outside promptly ready to get started! What a week we had, we covered EVERYTHING! It was pretty intense but that’s what I paid for, it was really enjoyable though and
I would highly recommend both OneWeekDrivingCourse and Lee Whitehead. The website was easy to use which made booking the course very simplistic. There was plenty of choice depending on your needs and level of experience. I was extremely anxious about driving at first and Lee was a great help in building my confidence and helping me to feel calmer. Communication from the company, either by email or phone, was always clear, polite and helpful. I missed a day and a half of my course due to bad weather but still managed to pass my test first time which I couldn’t have done without Lee’s great teaching.
I Started with Richard Beavan on the Tuesday and finished on the Friday.
Although I failed my driving test, Richard was a very good instructor with a lot of skills and knowledge. He is my second instructor I have had and certainly the best one. I feel the value for money was only satisfactory due to Richard having an old boxy, noisy Kia Picanto. I feel that if you pay £695 for a 24 hour course, its better to learn in a nice new car, like the other franchises offer. Other than price, I think the service and quality were okay.
