What Happens After You Book?
If you already have a practical test booked, we can begin working from the test information supplied with your booking. If you do not, your booking remains open while you arrange your practical test.
Once the test details are confirmed, we work on arranging your course with an instructor who can provide the required training around your practical test arrangements. Your driving hours are scheduled with your instructor before your course begins.

Can I book an intensive course without a practical test?
Yes. You can book your course first. If you select Schedule Your Course Around Your Practical Test, your course remains on an open date until you have arranged your practical test and provided us with the details.
What if I already have my practical test booked?
You can still choose this option. Enter your practical test date, time and test centre when booking so we can use the information when arranging your course.
Do I choose a course week when I book?
No. This option is specifically for learners who want their course arranged around their practical test. If you want to select a particular course week when booking, choose the Dedicated Course Week option instead.
Will you book my practical test for me?
No. Current DVSA rules require the learner to make and manage their own practical car driving test booking. We provide guidance through the process and arrange your course around the test details you secure.
What happens if I cannot find a practical test straight away?
Your course remains on an open date while you continue working on securing your practical test. You can use the guidance and practical test support available to you through OWDC during this process.
What happens if my practical test date changes?
Tell us as soon as your practical test arrangements change. Course arrangements depend on the test details and instructor availability, so it is important that we have your current information.
When will my driving hours be arranged?
Your driving hours are arranged with your instructor before the course begins. Intensive courses are normally delivered in structured blocks over consecutive training days, depending on the course booked and your arrangements.
