I took a 36 hour intensive course with Steve Leatherbarrow through One Week Driving Course. He is an excellent instructor and is very patient and easy to get along with. He gave me very clear and precise instructions that work on any car rather than teaching tricks that would only help to pass the driving test in his car.
I was due to take my driving test in Halifax on the last day of my course, but unfortunately it was cancelled the day before and rescheduled for 1 month later. Although it was not OneWeekDriving’s fault, Steve worked hard to find an earlier test date, a week later in Skipton. We even spent two days before my test driving in Skipton and getting me used to the area. I passed 1st time with only 3 minors.
Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend it.
Firstly the booking process is very clear and straight forward. I spoke to a lady who helped me with booking the correct course and answered all questions I had. Once, I had booked the course, the service was also great when booking my practical test. They managed to book a practical test at the end of my 18 hour course which was convenient. As I started my course, I met my driving instructor Alan. I couldn’t fault Alan, he was brilliant. I was quite nervous to start off with but he made me feel at ease with his very calm approach. He was a great instructor who I would highly recommend. I liked the format of an intensive course, it seemed to really benefit more than weekly lessons. I really really recommend this great service, brilliant company! .
I took the 24 hour course and passed my practical test in December 2014. Before this I attempted the practical test with another company 5 years ago but failed. I have nothing but positive things to say about the One Week Driving Course! In particular, my instructor, Stephen Lee, was outstanding. He has a gift when it comes to explaining things very clearly and pushing you just the right amount.
The course itself was great. The instructor was good and prepared me well for the test.
